What is a fanlisting? According to TFL.org, 'A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are) - they are just a place where you can have your name listed along with other fans of the same subject. TheFanlistings.org is the original (but not official) web directory for fanlistings, dedicated to uniting the fans.'

Bleach is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo that has appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since August 2001.

Bleach follows the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student with the ability to see ghosts, and a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki. The early parts of the story focus mainly on these characters. As events unfold, the story begins to delve deeper into the world of the gods of death.

The manga series has been adapted into an animated television series, two OVAs, two animated feature films, a rock musical, numerous video games, and a collectible card game. Compilation volumes of the manga have sold over 40 million copies in Japan, and have reached the top of manga sales charts in the United States.

zaraki kenpachi

Zaraki Kenpachi is the captain of the 11th Division within the Gotei 13. His lieutenant is Yachiru Kusajishi.

Kenpachi has a wild and aggressive appearance, fitting with his personality. He wears his captain's jacket without sleeves, and with a more ragged look to it (he acquired his jacket from the previous 11th Division captain, whom he defeated and killed in a duel). He styles his hair into spikes with bells at the tips and wears a special eye patch on his right eye created by the 12th Division to absorb the bulk of his power. Both of these are meant to give enemies an advantage, which Kenpachi appears to consider a prerequisite to his battles, as it is presumed that against most opponents, due to his overwhelming power, in an unhandicapped state he would defeat them so quickly as to be unable to enjoy himself sufficiently to delve into a state of bloodlust, that being what he treasures most. He has a huge scar on the left side of his face, apparently gained well before his time in Soul Society (and even before finding Yachiru). He is also one of the tallest characters in Bleach, towering at 202 cm (approx. 6 ft 7½ in). This is slightly taller than Yasutora Sado and almost double the height of his lieutenant, Yachiru Kusajishi. His stature is often exaggerated even more for dramatic purposes, especially in contrast with Yachiru's.

Kusajishi Yachiru is child-like in most respects, as she is small, cheerful, and carefree most of the time. Yachiru resents being criticized in any way and will often attack the perpetrator in comical fashion. Further reflecting her child-like nature, Yachiru likes to give people nicknames; for example, she calls her captain Ken-chan. She also tends to give others random placeholder names. Various omake chapters and character profiles show that Yachiru has a love for candy, which is often used by other characters to make her leave them alone.

Despite her child-like appearance, Yachiru is apparently quite strong, since she is strong enough to lift Kenpachi and leap between buildings while carrying him. She is also very fast for her size. She can emit a large amount of spiritual power when angry, which forms into a large, pink, angry cat face, as opposed to her captain's, which forms as a skull. The name and ability of Yachiru's zanpakuto are both unknown. She carries her zanpakuto around with a loose cord, rather than at the sash of her uniform, and its guard is shaped like a flower. Her zanpakuto's scabbard is also unusual in that it has a pair of wheels for transport (installed by Ikkaku Madarame after continued pestering).

kenpachi & yachiru

Yachiru was found as an infant by Zaraki Kenpachi who, despite being drenched in blood, did not frighten her. He named her "Yachiru" in memory of the only person he ever admired, and "Kusajishi" from the district in which she was found. Since that day she has spent much of her time clinging to his back for transport. Like Zaraki, she has no sense of direction, even though he relies on her to find his way.

Yachiru is the only person Kenpachi truly cares about, and together, they share a father-daughter kind of relationship. They are the absolute opposites when it comes to appearance, yet somehow have the perfect understanding of one another.
